Converse, April 17 - Leander J. Drollinger, 74, died Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in his home near Converse. He had been ill since last July.
Mr. Drollinger, a retired farmer, was born at Roann Sept 14, 1871. He had resided in a farm near Converse for several years. His first marriage was to Bessie Appleman who preceded him in death about 20 years ago. He was married the second time on Nov. 8, 1933 to Sarah Altice, who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gloe Vrooman, Wabash, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body has been taken to the Larrison Funeral home in Converse where friends may call and where services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Elwood Dunn will officiate and burial will be in Wabash Friends Cemetery.

Hi Gordon,, My information has more to do with his mother Jennie Sprowl, Matin's first wife. She had my great grandfather out of wedlock in 1861. After she died, Martin got in touch with my Great x 2 in Ohio. His name was Jesse Jackson. He was the biological father. He was married but had no children. Charles came to live with he and his wife. They legally adopted him. I have a hand written document on my tree that Charles wrote. He explains that he born out of wedlock and wants that to be known, who his real mother is. I have had my DNA done and follow the line as Charles and Jesse Jackson. If you go to Charles A Jackson in my tree, you can follow the events. There is also a photo of Martin Drollinger, his second wife and their 5 children. The Jackson's lived a short time in Wabash Co. Indiana. It was nearly next door to the Sprowls.
