- Larry Owen Atterbury, 67, of Kingman, Ind., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 24, 2014, at home while surrounded by his loving family.. He was born in Danville, IL on August 1, 1947 to the late Thomas and Edna Mae (Drollinger) Atterbury.. Larry graduated from North Vermillion High School and married Debra K (Hall) Atterbury on April 18, 1981.. Throughout his life he was a hard worker and started as a meat cutter at the Grab-it-Here Store, worked at the Cayuga Shell Station for many years and later retired from RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville, Ind., after 20 years. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, was a great carpenter, enjoyed working in his flower garden and yard, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was known as a gentle, loving, easy-going guy who was a buddy to everyone.. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his son Joshua (girlfriend, Isabel);his daughter, Heather (boyfriend, Tim); special sister, Sue; special brother, John Micheal; half-brothers, David, and Randy; half-sister, Betty; and two grandchildren, Blaine and Havyn.. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Pat and Connie, and brother Bob.. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. EST Friday, Dec. 26, at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st St., in Kingman. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. EST Saturday, Dec. 27, with visitation one hour prior with Pastor John McLain officiating. Burial will follow at Lower Mound Cemetery..
