- Obituary: MRS. MARY A. CLARK
Mrs. Mary A. Clark, age 75, passed away this morning at 2;15 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Eva A. Dawson, 521 Lincoln Way East, after a three weeks' illness of complications. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Hostetler. Mrs. Clark was born in Wills township and lived in this county practically all her life, except for several winter spent in Miami, Florida. She was married on March 2, 1887 somewhere in La Porte County, Indiana, to Thomas M. Clark. Mrs. Clark was a member of the First Brethren church of North Liberty. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alta M. Steckel of Miami; three sons, Joe H. Clark of LaPorte, David T.
Clark of Rolling Prairie and Gabriel W. Clark of Kiowa, Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah M. Farrell of Tyner, Mrs. Eva A. Dawson of LaPorte and Mrs, Mabel Miller of Mill Creek; four brothers, Joseph A. Hostetler of Miami, John W. Hostetler of Mill Creek, Gabriel A. Hostetler of Mill Creek and David M. Hostetler of new Carlisle, 28 nephews and nieces and 26 great nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Dawson Saturday at 2 o'clock Standard time, the Rev. M.G. Long officiating. The body may be viewed at the home until the hour of the funeral. Burial will be in Sauktown cemetery with O. M. Haverstock in charge.
