- Mary Irene (Grimes) Trullinger was born on January 21, 1927 in Auburn, Nebraska to William and Hanora Irene (Squire) Grimes. Mary grew up in Valley where she attended grade school and graduated from Valley High School in 1945.
Mary married Earl Trullinger on December 10, 1947 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska and they were blessed with two sons: Richard and William; Mary and Earl raised their family in Valley.
Mary worked as a waitress before she was married and later devoted herself to her family. She was dedicated to her family and took great pride in caring for her sons. Mary was a smart and loving woman who was an avid husker fan and enjoyed dumplings, diet coke and lunch at the Dairy Chef.
Mary passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Arbor Manor in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 87 years 8 months and 6 days. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Irene, husband Earl and brother Bill; Mary is survived by her sons Richard and William both of Fremont;
