- Lee Paige Henson, 85 of Marlin entered into rest Thursday, December 1, 2011. Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Brian Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Sunday until service time.
Mr. Henson was born August 24, 1926 in Crosby, TX to Harry Ernest and Phoebe Ethel Moore Henson. Paige had a special love for animals, especially his pets. He enjoyed being in the FFA where he could spend time working with and training his animals. Paige loved being outside, fishing and being with nature. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed all ages of people and their ways of life. Paige served his country in the US Army Air Corps in WWII in Okinawa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris Trollinger Henson, and son Russell Henson.
Survivors include daughter, Dianne Ladewig of Houston; son, Randy Henson of Chilton, granddaughter, Lisa Ladewig of Houston, great-grandson, Hunter Perk of Houston and special friend, Gwynn Range of Marlin.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Providence Hospice, 4830 Lakewood Drive, Ste 2, Waco, TX 76710.
