City 70 year resident to be buried Thursday. Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Rose Drollinger, aged 76, of 4901 East Kellog, a Wichata resident since 1880, who died in St. Francis hospital Tuesday afternoon will be at 9 AM Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Father Thomas Green, pastor, will officiate. A rosary will be said at 7:30 PM in the Downing Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Born Jan 17 1874 in Erie PA Mrs. Drollinger came to Wichita with her parents when she was six. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She had been in ill health for many months. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hephner, 2709 Jackson: sister, Mrs. Carl Smith, Portland OR: four brothers, George Downey, Mesa AZ; John Las Animas CO; Will, Texas; and James Martinez CA; 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
