  	Bert Drollinger, 86, a life resident of the community, died at 7 PM Sunday (Nov 18 1962) at the Ashley Nursing Home in Frankfort where he had been a patient one week. Born May 15, 1876, he was the son of Samuel and Mary Ann Jones Drollinger. He was married May 19 1901, to Mary Walton, who preceded him in death on Dec 18 1944. Mr. Drollinger was the last member of a family of 10 children. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Scotts Prairie Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Herschel of Kingman and John of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs Lloyd (Madge) Barker of LaPorte, Mrs Dorsey (Patience) Ayers of Frankfort and Mrs Dale (Martha) Parkerson of Ft. Wayne; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Rev T. Gerald Babbs will officiate, burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery.   Interestingly, there are two sets of Bert and Mary Drollingers each about the same age! One set is Berten James "Bert" Drollinger (b 1875 Illinois) married to Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cox (b abt 1881) and living in the Vermilion County, IL area and the other is Bert Drollinger (b 15 May 1876 Indiana) married to Mary Walton (b 24 Jul 1876) and living in the Fountain County, IN area! Fountain County and Vermilion County are neighboring border counties. Even though the two Berts are not tightly related, it is possible they knew of each other due to their same first and last names and close proximity to one another and the fact they were each married to a Mary. According to Madge (third wife of Hershel Ray Drollinger), Bert did not have a middle name.
