They moved to Mustang in 1917. She startedMustang School in 1920 and finished High School in 1932. She AttendedCentral Business College. She married Harold E. Owen on July 12, 1933.They have one son born October 20, 1936. She and Harold lived inMoore, Oklahoma for 15 years before moving to Capitol Hill where theybuilt a new house. They joined Capitol Hill Freewill Baptist Church in1950. She taught and was an assistant teacher in Sunday school for 37years. She also volunteered in the Church office. She and Haroldoperated an oil tool repair company for 22 years. She took care of herhusband who was sick 18 years before he died. She was known as a verytalented person. She was the last survivor of a large family, 4sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by one son, 4 grandchildren,and 7 great grandsons.
