It's curious why Fred and Ellen chose to get married in Pasco and not Spokane. Pasco population at that time was only about 2,000 people besides the fact it is about 150 miles away from Spokane where they both lived.

Question: Who is Verda Helen Blanck ('Mar 27, 1929 - Oct 26, 1974' per headstone) buried next to Fred's wife, Vera in their family plot?
Fred founded Acme Sand & Gravel and later as the the business grew it was renamed Acme Concrete Company. It soon became the largest concrete company in Spokane and became even larger with paving projects all around the country. (David H. Drollinger 11 Sep 2017)
My mother, LaVerne told me that Fred would tell her and my dad, Howard stories about how Bing Crosby (the famous crooner) who was attending Gonzaga U. which was very close to where Fred lived was friends with Fred and would pass out on his porch from time to time after having too much to drink. He was quite a partier in those days apparently. Bing Crosby was from the greater Spokane area and is Gonzaga's most famous alum. (David H. Drollinger)
Vera, Fred's second wife, had been the part time housekeeper for Fred and Ellen. After Ellen's death she became Fred's full time housekeeper and eventually his wife. According to my mother, LaVerne. (David H. Drollinger)
