He was born November 12, 1934 in Leechburg, son of the late Walter and Caroline (Williamson) Beer and lived in the Leechburg area all of his life. Walter was a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his sons and daughters, Walter James (Tammy) Beer, Jr. of Vandergrift; Tina Rosenberger of Spring Church; Ronald Beer of Vandergrift; Darla Updegraph of Vandergrift; Michael Eshenbaugh of New Kensington and Carla Eshenbaugh of Lower Burrell; two sisters, Mildred Frayer of Vandergrift and Patricia Beer of Leechburg; 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Brunner. Honoring his wishes, all services and burial are private. Arrangements entrusted to FRANK F.
