Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Joyce White, 75, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center. She was an Alzheimer's patient. She was born October 2, 1937, in Evansville, to the late Herbert Sr. and Mildred (Drewlinger) Walden.
She was a housewife and enjoyed traveling, walking at the mall, Gospel music, Country and Western music and family gatherings. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church in Newburgh and had previously attended Fairlawn United Methodist Church in Evansville. She was also a member Robert Morris Chapter 87 Order of Eastern Star.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Riley White; and sister-in-law, Joy Sloat.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Warren L. White of Evansville; daughters, Alice (Tony) Hutchcraft of Chandler and Donna (Russ) Baker of Pekin, IN; son, Tom (Kris) White of Evansville; brother, Herbert Walden, Jr. of Evansville; sister, Beverly Smith of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Chad (Kim) White, Adam White, Lynn (Robert) Green, Olivia and Aaron Baker; and great-grandchildren, Sofie and Oliver White.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Randy Anderson, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mark E. Meyers for the excellent care he provided Pat since 1976.
