- DOUGLAS J. MOYER, 84, OF LANSDALE Douglas J. Moyer, 84, of Lansdale, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Elm Terrace Gardens. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Miller) to whom he was married to for over 62 years. Born July 9, 1929 in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Jonas Moyer and Florence (Trollinger) Moyer. He was a graduate of Spring City High School. Mr. Moyer served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed as the Building Inspector for East Norriton Township for many years. After his retirement Mr. Moyer and his wife enjoyed many years in Venice Florida. Mr. Moyer was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Limerick. In addition to his wife he is survived by his two daughters, Donna Wisniewski and her husband George of Schwenksville and Diane Bell of Quakertown. He has three granddaughters; Nicole, Stacey, and Danielle and two great grandsons; Isaiah and Nicholas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Crossroads Church, 10 West Cherry Lane, Limerick PA 19468, where friends may call to greet the family from 10-11 a.m. Contributions may be made in his memory to Care Alternative Hospice, 501 Office Center Drive, Suite 285, Fort Washington, PA 19034, or to the American Cancer Society , P.O.
