  	FRITCH - James J. "Slim" Murrell, 68, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994 in his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Fritch with the Rev. A.F. Casey officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. A native of Duncan, Okla., Mr. Murrell had been a resident of Fritch since 1948. He was a technician for Natural Gas Pipeline of Amarillo for 39 years. He was a veteran of WWII in the Navy and was a member of Senior Citizens of Fritch and of First Baptist Church. Mr. Murrell married Velta Trolinger July 14, 1951 in Clovis, N.M. She preceded him in death April 4, 1987. Survivors include, two sons, Dennis Murrell and Donnie Murrell, both of Fritch; two daughters, Cathy Snider of Amarillo, and Delena Burks of Fritch; a sister, Christine Roberts of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
