- Judy Ann Cook, daughter of the late Arnold Trolinger and Eula (Foster) Trolinger, was born in her great-grandmother?s house in Oates, Missouri, on August 1, 1947. She departed this life at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri on September 21, 2021, at the age of 74.
On August 19, 1966, in Eureka, Missouri, Judy was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Cook and to this union three children were born. Judy was a devout member of the First Baptist Church and the Gideon?s Auxiliary. She served 16 years as deputy tax Collector and 16 years as tax Collector for Reynolds County. She was a former secretary and treasurer for the Reynolds County Ambulance Board. Judy enjoyed planting and tending to her beautiful flower gardens, taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids, volunteering at First Baptist Church to include; Vacation Bible School, serving on the Kitchen Committee and volunteering in the nursery as she loved all babies. She also enjoyed genealogy research and loved to travel. Judy loved the holidays, especially decorating for Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with birthday celebrations and cooking for family during those times. Family was her greatest joy, her faith was strong and her love was felt by all.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steve Trolinger.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ron Cook of Centerville Missouri, two sons, Ronnie Cook and wife Tonya of Lesterville, Missouri and Jonathan Cook and wife Christie of De Soto Missouri, one daughter, Tori Farrar of Fort Collins, Colorado, one sister, Regina Richardson and husband Don of Springfield Missouri, 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Travis and wife Megan, Taylor, Alex, Kyla and Sydney, and 3 great-grandchildren, Norah, Conlee and Lucas. Judy will be deeply missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
