The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Alamance Funeral Service Chapel in Burlington with burial in North Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel and at other times at the home. Public viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the funeral home. He was the son of John William Haith and Mary Ann Patrick Haith, both deceased and the husband of Betty Jones Haith, who survives. Odell was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Douglas Haith and Ralph Milton Haith. In addition to his wife of the home he is survived by six daughters, Shaketa Haith, Monica Haith, Tiffany Haith, Kimberly Haith Whitney Haith and Faith Haith; three sons, Gregory Haith, Christopher Haith and Dustin Haith; three brothers, Dwight Haith (Colleen), SFC (retired) Steven R. Haith and Craig Haith; three sisters, Thelma Carver, Shelia Haith Sanchez and Betty J. Haith; twenty grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. His funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Alamance Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00pm with Rev. Roy Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service and all other times at 625 Acorn Street. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the family.
