Victor Ivan Peck, Jr. of Gardner passed away June 2, 2014 at OlatheMedical Center. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 pm Saturday, June 7,2014 at Bruce Funeral Home (913) 856-7111 with military honorsfollowing the visitation. There will be a sharing of memoriesfollowing the military honors. A Celebration of Life will follow thevisitation starting at 5:00 pm at the Tumbleweed Saloon, Grill andBar, 615 E Main, Gardner, KS. Victor was born June 26, 1964 in Savannah, GA. He was raised by hisparents Victor Ivan and Pauline Edna (Guess) Peck in Oklahoma. Victorserved in the US Army and then moved to Gardner in 2002. He received aBS from Ottawa University. Victor was joined in marriage to DennisRobert O’Brien on June 16, 2012 in Flushing, NY. He was employed byCenturyLink in Gardner as a Process Manager for approximately 20years. Victor was a member of the Gardner American Legion. He loved tosocialize and travel. Victor served on the Gardner Festival of theTrails’ Board and was in charge of the children’s areas. He will bedearly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Peck.Victor is survived by his spouse, Dennis O’Brien; siblings: LisaAllen, Wichita, KS, Randy Peck, Wichita, KS, Sondra Holman, Wellston,OK, Keith Trolinger, Oklahoma City, OK, Brenda Harkins, Oklahoma City,OK, Nathan Trolinger, Macomb, OK, Alech Trolinger, Mt. Olive, NC andseveral nieces and nephews.
