- BURLINGTON - Ms. Deborah Trollinger McAdams, 61, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at 3:08 p.m. while surrounded by her family.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Baxter Trollinger Jr. and Mabel Trollinger, who survives. She was a licensed optician for over 30 years. Deborah was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington and also a member of numerous civic and social organizations since high school. She was a loving, devoted and kind mother, daughter, sister and friend.
In addition to her mother of Burlington, survivors include two daughters, Collins Peavy and husband Alex and Jacqueline McAdams; sister, Sue Trollinger of Richmond, Va.; brother, Eddie Trollinger and wife Sandra; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Chris Pittard.
A memorial service will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at 2 p.m. by Dr. Ronald Shive with the family receiving friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
