He owned his own Furnace and repair shop for many years, he owned three Texaco stations in Fort Wayne, worked at Zoli's, and finally worked in maintenance at St. Therese Catholic Church. He was Fort Wayne's first Ronald McDonald Clown. He also clowned as "Roscoe" at Baerfield Speedway and area hospitals. He was a loving and devoted husband and father of 15 children. Surviving are children, Sister Lael Niblick C.S.A. of Mississippi, Michael of Florida, Leo of Fort Wayne, Patrick of Mississippi, Paul of Portland, Maine, Guy of Bluffton, Herb of Fort Wayne, Mary Frecker of Hoagland, James of Florida, Karl and Thomas both of Fort Wayne, John of Florida, Raymond of Fort Wayne and Theresa Keesling of Huntington; sisters, Phylis Perry of Fort Wayne and Linda Garside of Texas; 31 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Madonna S. (Kaade) Niblick; second wife, Rita (Waters) Niblick; son, Matthew Niblick; sister, Margret Boeger; and brother Thomas Niblick. "Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Hessen Cassel, 11337 U.S. 27 S., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun St. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian.
