She usually went by the middle name of "Mae" to those whoknew her; she was a retired machine operator for Bob Allen Companies,Inc. Mae died of a heart ailment at the age of 72, at the Des MoinesGeneral Hospital; services were held at Hamilton Funeral Home in DesMoines, and she was laid to rest beside her husband.
