She was born in Wisconsin Dells on July 1, 1913, the daughter of Jacob and Nora (nee Peterson) Drollinger. She married Col. Eugene A. Carter. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2005. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. from Wisconsin Dells Community Funeral Home. The Rev. Steven A. Miller will officiate with interment to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
