Colonel Eugene A. Carter, 86 of North Palm Beach, Fla., died June 21, 2005, at his residence.
Eugene was born Dec. 25, 1918, in Fayette, Iowa. He married the former Clarice Drollinger of Wisconsin Dells. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1965.
A devoted husband and father, he leaves his wife Clarice, North Palm Beach, Fla.; his children, Judy (Jerry) Penton, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Steve (Lupe) Carter, North Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Cam and Chris; great-granddaughter, Jet; sister, Carol LaVallee, Harper's Ferry, W. Va.; Sister-in-law, Celia Drollinger, Wisconsin Dells and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, at Fedderly-Axtell Community Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells with military honors at Spring Grove Cemetery.
