He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Isabella Patterson Bowers; brothers, James Alex Bowers and Joe Bowers; sisters, Lucille Varner and Elizabeth Stinnett; first wife, Ada Trolinger Bowers; second wife, Joann Bowers. Survivors include daughters, Gloria Campbell and Barbara Nicholson; grandchildren, Amanda Oda, Sonya Martin, Katrina McCall; great-grandchildren, Ada Shoemaker, Robert Martin, Valerie Martin, and Jiraiya McCall. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Lee Bowers will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Nelson officiating.
