- Darlene D. Albright, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 10:54 pm Saturday, November 30, 2019, at home with her family. She was born August 17, 1942, in Altamont, Illinois, the daughter of the late Elmer & Edna (Yund) Berg. On April 19, 1963, she married Wayne E. Albright who preceded her in death November 13, 1992.
Darlene was a graduate of Altamont High School. She retired from ST Micro Electronics and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Darlene loved her gardens and was Master Gardener in 2007 and 2017.
Darlene is survived by her children, Deborah M. (Thomas) Wise, and Bradley W. (Rachel) Albright; grandchildren, Austin Wise, Alexander Wise, Joshua Albright, and Corinne Albright.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Lauda Fitzwilliam.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 6, 2019, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 121 Santa Fe Blvd, Kokomo, with Rev. John Kolb officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with family from 4-7 pm Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo.
