CORINNE ? Braxton Kai Thephakone Phetsysouk, 14 passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 unexpectedly following an accident.
Braxton was born May 8, 2001 in Logan, Utah a son of Joette (Drollinger) and Thephakone (Toppee) Phetsysouk.
He was a student at Box Elder Middle School and played soccer and was a team captain for his B.E. United Team.
Braxton was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was serving as a teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. He had a strong testimony and loved the gospel. Braxton was involved in and loved the Scouting program. He had completed the requirements for the Eagle Scout Award and was working on his Eagle project. Braxton loved soccer it was his passion in life. He loved all his soccer family and friends. He enjoyed making those around him laugh and lightened the lives of everyone around him. Braxton had a special way of bringing his parents and brother and sister together and had the strength to carry all of them in their time of need.
Surviving are his parents Toppee and Joette; younger brother and sister Tylen and Haley; all of Corinne, UT. Also grandparents: Amphone (Cham) Phetsysouk, Layton; Alan Drollinger, Brigham City; and Carmen Drollinger, Hyrum. Also surviving many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Boualoy Phetsysouk.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brigham City West Stake Center, 895 N. 625 W., Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Friday from 9:00 to 9:40 a.m. at the Stake Center.
Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery.
