He married Marcine Glover in 1964 in Mineral Wells. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Mineral Wells Masonic Lodge. He retired from the Mineral Wells Post Office after many years of service. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nelsa and Rick Lehman, of Mineral Wells; grandson and wife, Karl and Kelly Lehman, of Jacksboro; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Holly and Wyatt; and nieces, Carla Jones and Valarie Katzenstein, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Lisa Johnson, of Kodiak, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellen Joyce Katzenstein; and his wife on Sept. 6, 2013.
