- Anna Mae Randall, 92 of Spur passed from this life on March 12, 2013 at her home in Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 PM on March 16, 2013 at the Zapata Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home in Spur, Texas. Burial will follow at the Spur Memorial Cemetery.
Anna Mae was born October 16, 1920 in St Jo, Texas. She worked in Spur for the majority of her career and later attended James Connelly Technical Institute in Waco, TX. After graduation, she worked as a dental assistant. She was a member of the Baptist Church and proudly served many years with the Spur VFW Post 7212, Ladies Auxiliary and the Spur Chapter of the Easter Star. She married her beloved husband Johnny Clomer Randall on November 24, 1940 in St Jo. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Verna Bales and her husband, Clomer after 65 years of marriage.
Anna is survived by her sister Ava Lee Forman of Cyril, Oklahoma; two sons, Jerry Randall and wife Brenda of Lubbock and Johnny Randall and wife Sheila of McKinney; three grandchildren, Lisa Blackburn, Wade Randall and Scott Randall and seven great-grandchildren, Jeri, Raymond, Christopher, Justin, Patricia Cheyenne and J.D.
