  	Mr. Orval (Chuck) Boyd age 63, of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Corydon, Indiana. Chuck was a member of the American Legion Post 167 of Chatsworth. He was preceded in death by his father, Orval C. Boyd, Sr.; mother, Lydia L. Evans; sister, Patricia Boyd; father-in-law, Marvis Headrick. Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis Boyd of Chatsworth; mother-in-law, Jean Headrick of Crandall; son and daughter-in-law, David and Franci Scott of Marietta; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Jennifer Evans of IN; sister, Charlene Kowalski of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Christiana Rose Scott, Isabella Grace Scott, and Paul Walton; nephew, Nelson Ortega; nieces, Kassie and Kaitlin Evans, Nancy Miller, Veronica Burch; extended family also survives. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bill Raper officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 167 Honor Guard of Chatsworth. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and masks are strongly encouraged. No food or beverages will be allowed in the funeral home.
