Funeral services will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation on Sunday, June 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Don was born July 18, 1926 in Tightwad, Mo. He was a master mechanic who owned a marine dealership, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He was a devoted husband for 65 years, and a loving father and grandfather. His great faith was an inspiration to all who knew him, and he faithfully served the Lord as an Elder in the Priesthood.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Gladys Summers; sister Helen Church; and brother Darrell Summers. He is survived by his wife Edna; his four daughters Dian, Janice, Brenda, Lisa, and their spouses; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Pruessner and Eva Arneson; brother Lonnie Summers.
