- ROCKPORT, Ind. - Rebecca S. Wilkinson, 56, of Rockport, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
Rebecca was born on December 6, 1951, to Mildred F. (Frakes) Bell and the late Ramond S. Bell.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Spencer County Church of Christ. She enjoyed making crafts and attending South Spencer basketball games.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Mike Wilkinson; mother, Mildred F. Bell of Newburgh, Ind.; stepson, Jeffery Scott Wilkinson of Jeffersonville, Ind.; two grandsons, Aaron Wilkinson and Riley Scott Wilkinson; two sisters, Linda Peerman and her husband, Gary, of Newburgh, and Karen Max and her husband, Nick, of Grandview, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with the Rev. Dan Wade officiating. Burial is in Conners Chapel Cemetery in Lamar, Ind.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, January 7, and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
