- Charles Floyd Breckenridge was born on January 11, 1941 to Loyd and Rebecca Breckenridge. In August of 1963, he married Doris Wheeler they were married for almost 30 years. He later married Sharon Potter in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Breckenridge; his mother, Rebecca Trollinger Breckenridge; sisters, Molly Bell Breckenridge and Letha Ann Taylor; and brothers, Kenneth Breckenridge and Jessie Breckenridge.
He is survived by his children, Chuck Breckenridge, Penny Walling, and James Breckenridge; his wife, Sharon Breckenridge and her sons Kevin Potter and Jason Potter; his sister, Wanda Breckenridge; and his brothers, Rayburn Breckenridge and Eddie Breckenridge.
Charles has five grandchildren, Richard Breckenridge and his wife, Kathryn, Tara Bennet and her husband, Jared, Randall Breckenridge, Drey Breckenridge, and Austin Breckenridge; and three great grandchildren, Jasmine, Violet, and Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Charles worked in many different fields, most of his life in manufacturing at Flexteel furniture, Claridge products and for Cesna Aircraift, then for a short time and the meat packing house. He later worked at Drumright Nursing Home, but the place he seemed to have loved the most was his job at Walmart where he worked until he could no longer do the job. He was extremely proud of the award he received for safety officer of the year!
He loved going to church, spending time with friends and family and you could always tell when he was happy because he would automatically start whistling. He was loved deeply and will be missed intensely.
Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10 A.M. at River of Life Church in Drumright, Oklahoma. 521 East Broadway. There will be no graveside services.
