- BURLINGTON - Mr. Dennis Sellars, 60, of 4836 Widow Foster Road, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Otis Sellars and Jearlene Hurdle Sellars, both survive.
In addition to his parents of the home, he is survived by a sister, Debra Ann Sellars Patrick (Tracy); brother, Daniel Sellars; three nieces, Taylor Patrick, Tayanna Patrick and Christina Ratliff; two nephews, Chrishoper Ratliff and Joshua Sellars; four great-nieces; one great-nephew; one great-great-niece and nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
Dennis worked for Tower Mills and Monarch Hoisery, and he was a United States Army Veteran.
Dennis' homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, October 6, at 12 p.m. at Stoney Creek AME Church with Rev. James Swain, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral service at the church.
His public viewing will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
