- Eva was an only child.
Joseph Young was ordered, by his Dr. To move out of Minnesota . The Young's settled in San Jose and stayed there several years and Joseph regained his health completely from service in the Indian and Civil wars.
In about 1871 the Young family settled close to Eagle Creek, near the Gilbert Epperson's family.
