- Judy Gayle Hill, 78, of Fort Gibson, OK was born May 23, 1943 in Collinsville, OK to Uvaughn and Maxine (Griffith) Youngblood and peacefully passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.
Judy worked for 20 years as a Chiropractic Assistant for several different Chiropractors in the Muskogee area. She lived in Collinsville for 18 years, then moved to Fort Gibson where she lived for the last 53 years.
Judy was a woman whose presence was larger than life with a kind spirit and generous heart. She met, fell in love with and later married her best friend Jim E. Hill on September 21, 1962 in Collinsville, OK. Together they shared 59 years, two months, and six days making beautiful memories together.
Judy was first and foremost of all a loving mother to her three children. She loved bluegrass music, gardening, camping and helping others in their time of need. Judy was a devoted "Gigi" and gave them endless love and memories, they will cherish forever. Judy loved her family and friends unconditionally. She loved her Church and was a faithful member of the Fort Gibson Church of Christ. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Judy is lovingly survived by her husband, Jim of the home; daughters, Robin Gray and husband Billy of Owasso, OK, Carol Evans and husband Brent of Sallisaw, OK; granddaughters, Hillary Traylor of Owasso, OK, Christina Mitchell of Owasso, OK, Haleigh Emerson of Euless, TX, and Hope Evans of Sallisaw, OK; grandsons, Jared Hill, Justin Hill both of Grand Prairie, TX and Hayden Evans of Muldrow, OK; great granddaughters, Roseleigh Evans, Lillianna Traylor, and Josiella Traylor; great grandson, Ramsey Mitchell; brother, Jimmy Youngblood of Catoosa, OK; sister Louise Tounzen of Collinsville, OK; extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Maxine Griffith; father, Uvaughn Youngblood; step-mother, Faye Youngblood; son, Steven Hill.
Judy will lie in state from 12PM-7PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with the family receiving friends from 5PM-7PM.
A service Celebrating Judy's life will be 10AM Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Fort Gibson Church of Christ with Minister Dan Rouse officiating.
Committal prayers and interment will be 1PM at Starnes Cemetery with Hayden Evans, Brent Evans, Josh Mitchell, Mike Goats, Nathan Traylor, Henry Petree serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Jim Youngblood, Tom Moore and Lyle Tolbert.
The family of Judy Gayle Hill has entrusted her care, service and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson, OK.
