Henry Drollinger Dies At Daughter's Home.
Henry Drollinger, former well known Darlington man, died early this week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fern Breidenbach at Arlington,Virginia, following a short illness.
He and Mrs. Drollinger had lived in their daughter's home for many years. Another daughter, Mrs. Gladys Rickenbrode lives at Indianapolis.
The remains, accompanied by the family, arrived in Crawfordsville at 12:05 this afternoon and were brought to the Methodist church in Darlington where funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. A.L. Vermillion, pastor of the church was in charge and Walter Stewartsang.
Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

H. Drollinger Rites Held Here Thurs.
Funeral services for Henry Drollinger, who died early last week at Arlington, Virginia, were held in Darlington Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The body, accompanied by Mrs. Drollinger, her daughter, Mrs. Fern Breidenbach and son-in-law, S. H. Breidenbach arrived at Crawfordsville soon after noon, and was brought to Darlington by Brainard, Butler and Russell.
Rev. A. L. Vermillion, pastor of the church, gave the funeral discourse and Walter Stewart sang, "Good Night and Good Morning," Beyond The Sunset," and "The Land where We Never Grow Old," three favorite songs of the Drollinger family. Mrs. Glen Carson was his accompanist.
Serving as pall bearers were Guy Pickering, Glenn Pickering, Fane Pickering, Ivan Pickering, Ezra Engle and Clyde Pickering, all of whom are nephews of Mrs. Drollinger.
Floral tributes were carried by Mesdames Guy, Fane and Ivan Pickering, Mrs. Ezra Engle, Mrs. Wallace Boots, Miss Lula Buskirk, Miss Opal Holloway and Howard and Barbara Rickenbrode. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mr. Drollinger had lived in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Breidenbach, for about eighteen years. Previous to that he had lived in the Potato Creek neighborhood and Darlington.
He was 88 years old and had been in his usual good health until a few days before his death when he suffered an attack of indigestion.
Besides his wife, Emma Pickering Drollinger and the daughter, Mrs. Breidenbach, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Gladys Rickenbrode and two grand children Howard and Barbara Rickenbrode of Indianapolis.
Following the funeral and burial Mr. and Mrs. Breidenbach and Mrs. Drollinger went to Indianapolis to spend the week end with the Rickenbrode family before returning to their home in Virginia.
