Bos Mary
(1955-2019)
It has been three years since Mary died. I can no longer call her for advice on how to do a knitting stitch or what would be the best bicycle route through the Skagit valley. Mary's interests were wide ranging and diverse. How many people can say their sister was an International Champion Grand Master Kite Flyer? Mary was, and so much more. With a Master's in Software Engineering, she would happily provide support and guidance for just about any computer problem. Her quilt tops were inspiring with wild swirls and color gradients that created movement and also warmth. She loved puzzles and games. Her mother, Cora, treasures Mary's cross-stitch portraits and geometric designs. We miss her so much and think of her often. On April 19th Mary would have been 68 years old, maybe retired, maybe solving a software puzzle for Boeing. Wherever she is, I hope it is a sunny day with just the right amount of wind to fly a brightly colored kite.
