She was born in Parke County, Indiana, September 23, 1910, to Samuel and Beulah E. Craig. She married Alfred Hershberger. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Covington and the Wabash Township Birthday Club. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and needlework.
Surviving are: a son, Roy (Naomi) Hershberger, Veedersburg; a daughter, Rhoda (Larry) Lamb, Cayuga; a brother, Samuel Craig, Veedersburg; two sisters, Janice Booe, Veedersburg; Thelma Gosnell, Chesterfield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren ; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sons and a brother. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Covington with Pastor Jay Hollinshead officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery , Hillsboro.
