      Inscription reads, "BONEBRAKE Nathaniel Bonebrake Nov. 5. 1836 - July 18, 1904 Margaret J. His wife Feb. 9. 1843 - June 19. 1898".
Note: There is also an additional inscription at the base of the shared headstone which reads something like 'S L DROLLINGER VEEDERSBURG IND' who was possibly the stone cutter.

Who was the S L Drollinger stone cutter who cut Nathaniel and Margaret Bonebrake's headstone? Gordon had the following to say regarding this question: "I don't think it logicly follows that there is a S.L. Drollinger as a stone cutter. It may be he is the one who paid for the stone. In any event I agree it is a mystery. The most logical candidiate would be Samuel Drollinger who was a farmer raising horses." (Question posed by David H. Drollinger and answered by Gordon L. Drollinger)

    • Because his father's middle name is Miller no doubt in honor of his mother, it seems likely that Nathaniel's middle name is also Miller.
