  	"Mrs. Emma Whisler, 92, of 316 S. Main St., Veedersburg, died Saturday evening (August 31, 1974) in the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois, where she had been a patient since August 28. Mrs. Whisler was a member of the First Christian Church here and of Prairie Chapel Ladies Aid. A native of Parke County, she was a daughter of Murphy and Samantha Little Fogleman and was born March 11, 1882. She married Charles Sigler here in 1903. He is deceased. In 1956 she married Frank Whisler who survives. Also surviving are a son, Harold of Veedersburg; six daughters, Mrs. Lola Wakeland, Mrs. Waneta Philpot and Mrs. Alberta Richey of Veedersburg, Mrs. Ruby Wise of Perrysville and Mrs. Madline Hall of Covington; a brother Chancy Fogleman of Veedersburg and 19 grandchildren 63 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fishero-Dickerson Funeral Home here with the Rev. Charles Wood officiating and burial in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Tuesday."
