Thomas Green Trolinger, 86, 704 Montgomery avenue, Sheffield, died about 6 a.m. today at Colbert County Hospital following an illness of five years.
He was a native of Shelbyville, Tenn., had moved here from Nashville, about three months ago. He was a retired machinist.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Nashville. Burial will be made in Spring HIll (Tenn.) cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Trolinger; three sons, George D. and F. J. Trolinger of Sheffield, and M. R. Trolinger of Nashville; three daughters, Miss Mary J. Trolinger, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. W. T. Shockley, Bluefield, W. Va., Mrs. John P. Dubzik, Detroit, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
