  	Longtime Dundalk, Maryland resident Robert Lester Florence died of sepsis on October 17, 2014 at his home in North Point Village, Dundalk, Maryland. He was 86. He was born and raised in Graham, North Carolina and was the youngest and last survivor of 12 siblings. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and last worked for Giant Food for 26 years. He had previously lived in Berkshire, Dundalk, Maryland for over 50 years. He was a member of Flagship House of Prayer and enjoyed reading. Survivors include daughters Julia Anderson and Brenda Shaffer and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by Annie Mae Florence, his wife of 51 years and Betty Florence, his second wife of 13 years. Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens followed services at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, Dundalk, Maryland.
