- Jessie A. (Yost) Lundeen, 93, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Kearney County Health Service Longterm Care in Minden.
Services were held Saturday at United Methodist Church in Minden with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating.
Mrs. Lundeen was born Jan. 18, 1908, to Charles and Clara (Drollinger) Yost in Adams County, north of Hastings. She graduated from Hastings High School and attended Hastings College. On Oct. 1, 1927, she married Harold Lundeen and they lived and farmed in the Keene area. They moved to Minden in 1954. Her husband died in 1974.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women and the LL Club, all in Minden. She was a volunteer at the Minden Opera and Led Center.
Survivors are two sons, Eugene of Minden and Robert of Monument, Colo.; two daughters, Thelma Jensen of Minden and Mary Ann Erickson of Lincoln; one sister, Elizabeth Pahlke of Boulder, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
