Yurell "Less" Lessley 89, of Vallejo, passed away on July 14, 2009.
Born in Muldrow, Okla., he was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a farm hand for 20 years and as a truck driver for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
Less is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathern Lessley; daughters, Delores Ann Anderson, Betty Lee Trollinger and Nancy Karen Lessley; son, James Robert Lessley; twin sister, Jewel
Jackson, and sister, Zelda Brooks; grandchildren, Dempsey Ray Griffie, Jr., Dennis Ray Griffie, Shawn Otis Griffie, Steven Burnette Griffie, Shawn Arthur Anderson, Tamy Lee Trollinger, Nancy Lee Trollinger, Susan Lee Delores Trollinger, James Robert Lessley, Jr., and Joshua David Lessley.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Harvest Baptist Church, 240 Rio Del Mar, American Canyon with Pastor Mike Trimble officiating.
