Mary Jane Lavelle-Caulk (Poitry) was born on July 14, 1937. Mary Jane was the only child of Charles Lavelle and Mary Corbett. She was raised on Capitol Hill and graduated from Holy Angels High School ('55) later attending Seattle University. While at SU she earned her BA in Drug & Alcohol Counseling. She worked for a number of agencies and was featured in Life Magazine for her expertise with children of addiction. She retired from Swedish Hospital in 2007. Mary Jane is survived by her Husband David Poitry, Daughter Jennie (Caulk) Druliner, Grandson Max Druliner, Goddaughter Rena (Caso) Piercy. Mary Jane will be interred with her mother at Holyrood Cemetery.
