  	Ruby Glen Eady Trollinger, age 92, of Shelbyville, TN. passed away December 25, 2022 surrounded by family after a short illness. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Rev. Coleman March Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Highview Cemetery in Lynchburg. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Ruby was born on March 23, 1930 in Lynchburg, TN. to the late Morris and Ella Whitaker Eady. She attended Highview in Lynchburg, TN. She was married to the late Norman Trollinger for 38 years. Ruby worked at Tyson Foods, Inc. for over thirty years and would continue working as a caregiver after retiring from Tyson. She was a member of Berry Chapel AME Church in Lynchburg. Ruby loved to cook and garden. Even up until to her illness she could be seen working in the yard. Lovingly known to many as "Granny", she never met a stranger and was always welcoming to anyone who graced her presence. Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Billy Norman Trollinger; brothers, William, Claude, Clyde and Earnest Eady; sisters, Lenora Lay, Annie Ingle, Ealon Trice, Maggie Shelton, Lillie Vern Henderson and Mary Sue Eady; grandson, Tyler Jamar Stewart and sons-in-law, John Henry Stewart, Jr. and John (Chuck) Franklin Owens. She is survived by three daughters, Susie Ann Stewart, Ida Ruth (Poochie) Owens and Lisa Michelle (James) Carden, all of Shelbyville, TN.; grandchildren, Markham Andre Stewart, Shelbyville, TN.; Martin Thomas Owens, Bellevue, TN.; Michael Lee and John Paul Owens, Dr. August Chantel and Taia Lanea Stewart, James Joshua Alan and Ryan Isaiah (Chelsey) Carden, all of Shelbyville, TN.; great-grandchildren, Jourdan (Nina) Owens, Honolulu, HI; Tre (Kailey) Stewart, Shelbyville, TN.; Justice Owens, Knoxville, TN.; Clarisssa Owens, Morristown, TN.; Courtney Owens, Iowa; Preston (Jaycie) Owens, Alaska; Alexia Stewart, Amaia Ferby, Aubree Stewart, A'kinzey Chunn, Isaac and Sophia Carden, all of Shelbyville, TN.; great-great-grandchildren, Lilah, Phoenix and Samson Stewart all of Shelbyville, TN.; and Brylee Owens, Alaska; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Eady, Lynchburg, TN. and Joyce Eady, Fayetteville, TN.; a devoted nephew, Robert Trollinger, Flat Creek, TN. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
