- Mr. Kenneth Bernard Kowalski, 62, of Chatsworth passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
Mr. Kowalski served eight years in the U. S. Army with the 82nd Airborne as a medic at Ft. Bragg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving & Elizabeth Kowalski of Milwaukee, WI.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Kowalski; son and daughter-in-law, SMSgt Nelson & Candice Ortega of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, Haylee, Hunter, PV2 Cameron, and Caitlin; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine & David Lewis of Rockton, IL; brothers-in-law and their spouses, Chuck & Phyllis Boyd of Chatsworth and Danny & Jennifer Evans of Indiana; and nieces, Nancy Miller, Veronica Burch, Kassie Evans, and Kaitlyn Evans.
A memorial service for Mr. Kowalski will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Raper officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour.
