Lillian May Stoneberg Drollinger was born October 7, 1925, in Cotton,a small community between Shelley and Idaho Falls, to Carl RobertStoneberg and Violet Adele Tofte.
She was raised in the New Sweden area and moved to Osgood in 1941. Shecontinued to live in Osgood after her marriage to Keith Drollinger onJune 14, 1943. On April 10, 1965, their marriage was solemnized in theIdaho Falls LDS Temple.
In 1962, she moved to Shelley where she worked at the R. T. FrenchCompany and later at Pillsbury. She retired in 1990.
Lillian was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daySaints and cherished the many hours that she and her husband served asordinance workers in the temple.
She held many positions in the Church over the years including PrimaryPresident, Beehive teacher, ward and stake Sunday School secretary,homemaking leader, visiting teacher and den mother.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Her smilewas contagious and her thoughtfulness influenced the lives of many.There wasn't anything Lillian couldn't do if she set her mind to it.She was especially adept at culinary skills, especially, cakes and alltypes of candies.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; daughter, Joyce (Robert) Larnaof Twin Falls, Idaho; daughter, Jackie (Robert) Johnston of Cody,Wyoming; son, Robert (Debbie) Drollinger of Shelley, Idaho; daughter,Cathy Olsen and son, Conley Drollinger of Carbon County, Utah; hersisters Melba (Irvin) Landon and Nancy Reed; a brother, Robert(Connie) Stoneberg; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-threegreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, agrandson and a brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 9, 2004, at theLDS Shelley 4th Ward, 184 North Park. The family will meet withfriends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Sunday at Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley,Idaho, and from 9:30 AM to 10:40 AM Monday at the Church. Burial willbe in the Shelley, Idaho, Hillcrest Cemetery.
