- Christian wake services for Adeline Thoma Rainey of McMinnville will be held tonight at 7 in Huston Funeral Home in Lebanon. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today in the home.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lebanon, the Rev. John Murphy will officiate. Entombmeat will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum, McMinnville. Mrs. Rainey died May 31, 1993, in Providents Medical Center in Portland. She was 79. She was born March 30, 1914, in Sayton, the daughter of John and Agatha Kerber Thoma. She was rasied and schooled in Stayton and gaduated from high school there in 1932. She was married to John Rainey in 1945. She worked for 20 years as a civil service employee with the State Employment Division, the Department of Veterans Affairs the U.S. Forestry Department. She moved to McMinnville from Pacific City in 1974.
Mrs. Rainey was a member of the Catholic Church and attended St.James Catholic Church, McMinnvill. Survivers inclue two brothers, Donald and Leonard Thoma of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988.
