15 PERSONS HURT seriously
15 PERSONS HURT seriously, when a car in which they were riding overturned along route 402 in Pike County Saturday night as the driver attempted to extinguish a discarded cigarette which had blown back through the window. Seriously hurt was Mrs. Carolus Trollinger, 23, Pottstown, whose head and neck were jarred through an open rear window and caught by the flattened car top J She suffered ' severe cuts and puncture wounds of the head and neck and was admitted to Wayne Memorial Hospital for observation. t Others hurt were Carolus Trollinger, husband 'of Mrs. Trollinger, body bruises and shock, and Nancy Wiley, 24, Philadelphia, the driver, cuts and bruises. Both received hospital treatment. Troopers Glenn James and Ralph Gabriel of the Milford State Police Substation said Miss Wiley lost control of . the vehicle after a lighted cigarette she had thrown out the front window blew back into the car. Mrs. Trollinger was extricated from, the wreckage by John Eckweiler. a nearby resident, who pried the smashed top from around her neck with a crow bar. Before removal to the " hospital, the injured were given first aid by Mrs. Eckweiler, a registered nurse.
