Finley Leads Junior Highs To 26 - 7 Win GIBSONVILLE Tommy Fin - ley had a field day in leading the Williams High junior high eleven to a 26 - 7 season - ending victory over Gibsonville's junior varsity here yesterday. Finley scored two touchdowns, passed for two more and kicked: both extra points to figure in all Burlington scoring. He was ; by a good forward wall, which; was paced by Johnny Kinney and - Earl Sutphin. Finley passed to Dickie Smith ers for a 40 - yard touchdown in the first quarter and then hurled I tor 20 yards to bmitners tor another score, this one 20 yards, before the first quarter ended. In the second period, he cli maxed a march by going four to paydirt, and in tne Unrd quarter he romped for four yards and a touchdown. Gibsonville hit the scoring column in the final period when Jim my Smithy caught a pass and scored on a play covering 40 yards.
