Max with his first gas station about 1930. Max owned several gas stations in Hoquiam, Aberdeen, McClary, Malone and Seattle in Greenwood. He owned Veltex, Richfield, Tidy Water Flying A, White Star, as well Hancock and Standard Oil to name a few. Max also worked at the Ford Motor Company in Aberdeen, Washington. Max got carbon monoxide poison at the Ford Co.
